Parks & Points Celebrates Ten Years, with a Return to Poetry…

We’re excited to share that Parks & Points is turning ten years old this month! We started P&P as the National Park Service marked its centennial, in April of 2016. Our journey has since led us to public lands throughout the U.S., while our literary events have enriched and broadened our personal writing communities. We’ve been on hiatus for the past few years due to our creative projects, but we are excited to get back into the swing of things just in time for the summer 2026 travel season. Parks & Points truly is a love letter to public lands and creative works like writing and photography. We hope you will continue with us on this journey as we enter our second decade as a publication.

With that in mind, please see the guidelines for our 2026 poetry series here.
